This Sunday, the Fredericton Region Museum has its annual Open House. Join us for a day of fun as you learn more about the history of New Brunswick. The Museum is offering FREE ADMISSION for the day!
Fun-filled activities await your entire family. Join us for a children’s frog craft! Based off the life of the beloved Coleman Frog, a 42 pound gentle-giant found in KillarneyLake, the craft is a great way for children to learn more about the history of their community.
Going outside the box, the Fredericton Region Museum is giving the opportunity for the public to go behind the scenes and explore what happens in a museum. Work directly with artefacts as you take part in a short and simple categorizing exercise. Don’t miss this one-time opportunity to build a relationship with pieces of New Brunswick’s history! This event only occurs during our Open House!
Local band, Margo Margo will be in attendance, giving a free 12:30pm performance to Museum guests.
We will be fundraising for a children’s component to our popular medical exhibition, From Black Bag to High Science. Fundraisers include a book sale and a unique craft raffle. Books will be on sale for $1 each, and raffle tickets will be on sale for $2 each or 3 for $5.
Don’t forget to visit our resident Loyalist – Hannah Ingraham! She will be selling tea in the afternoon, so don’t miss her.
